Activity 4 – Blog Reflections

a.      Were you impressed by google’s search functions/features? Why?

Basically I must say I am impressed by Goggles functions/ features. The different function/ features that are present has helped me in finding the articles that are very closely related and make it easier to search/browse through the different articles that are very related to the search query. In addition, it also helps to organize all the different articles accordingly to suit my preferences making it convenient for me.

b. How do you feel about participation in discussion forum? Is it helpful for your research? Do you feel anxious about talking to others you do not know?

I felt that participation in discussion forum is effective in a way as there are many people out there who could gives us relatively quite a number of great ideas. It is also a good way to reach out to new ideas and comments or suggestions that is benefiting for our research topic by the person. Basically I love talking to strangers/ people that I do not know online, thus for this discussion forum talking to others that I do not know is not really an issue or make me feel anxious.

c. Why must you do citation and bibliography?
We must do citation to avoid plagiarism of another person's work (-without proper acknowledgment of the original work.)Subsequently, it is an Essential feature in a research work In addition to identifying the sources that I had cited in my paper, a bibliography basically, represents the research I've done
in preparation for writing, and it offers my audience suggestions for further reading on my topic.
